Daniel J. Weaver is president and executive director of the Pennsylvania Oil & Gas Association (PIOGA), the state’s largest and oldest oil and gas trade association representing the full industry – from conventional to shale and beyond.

On behalf of PIOGA’s approximately 375 member companies, he works closely with elected leaders, regulators and the civic community to advance responsible oil and gas development and promotes a favorable environment to the success of the exploration and production, the transportation and the downstream end-users of these energy resources.

Prior to serving in this role, Mr. Weaver was Director of Public Outreach at PIOGA where he was responsible for communications and public education.  Mr. Weaver launched the PIOGA Energy Education Program (PEEP), a “teach-the-teachers” program for educators in grades 5 through 8, to provide age-appropriate energy curriculum for future generations.

Before joining PIOGA, Mr. Weaver served 11 years as a Museum Educator at the Drake Well Museum and for a term as the Manager of the Friends of Drake Well Museum.  Dan was instrumental in the creation of the Mobile Energy Education Training Unit (MEET-U), a portable classroom that has traveled over 200,000 miles to provide information about energy to students and the public in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and New York.

Mr. Weaver, a Penn State University graduate and an active outdoorsman, was born and raised in in the heart of the historic oil industry, Oil City, Pa. He lives in northwestern Pennsylvania with his wife, Marlie. They have three children.

Todd represents PIOGA in all PUC matters, provides legal counsel to the Association on industry matters and manages our legal representation in litigation, and participates in our committees.

Debbie Oyler

Debbie is responsible for membership development and retention, event planning, accounts payable/receivable and other finance functions for the association.

Meghan Keely

Meghan is responsible for communications including the monthly newsletter, weekly e-newsletter, advertising, PIOGA’s website, and assistance with educational materials and committee communications.

Deana McMahan

Director of Administration and Committee Liaison

The Director of Administrative & Committee Liaison is responsible for assisting with all aspects of PIOGA’s office administration, including member inquires and services and providing support to the PIOGA staff. This role also serves as the committee liaison helping to facilitate the monthly meetings, committee-related events and managing committee membership.
