JOB: Crude Truck Driver

(1 Required)  Primary Location: Sandyville, OH Terminal



Transfer crude oil from well site tanks to truck following set procedures and deliver to Sandyville Terminal for unloading without spillage or leakage.
Accurately gauge well tanks before and after transferring crude from tanks to truck.
Follow proper unloading procedures at Sandyville Terminal and maintain proper paperwork to track and measure hauled volumes.  Keep necessary truck maintenance records, and regularly check tires, fuel, oil, radiator, brakes, and lights.  Maintain all equipment in a safe and clean manner.  Perform all tasks as requested by Supervisor.


High School graduate or equivalent.

Must be no less than 21 years of age.

Must comply with Federal and State Commercial Driver’s License classifications as required by law.

Must pass DOT physical, road test and written examination required by US Department of Transportation.

Must possess valid motor vehicle driver’s license and be able to meet the qualifications as required by Federal and State laws for Class A CDL license with endorsements H( HAZMAT) and N(Tank) having driven the last 2 years with a good driving record, with 2 points or less on the CDL.

Must have physical ability and aptitude to perform above requirements.

Must be capable of climbing and working in elevated locations in all weather conditions.

Preferred to have no less than one year of experience driving a truck through the four seasons, as well as off-road driving experience.

Must possess knowledge of U. S. Department of Transportation Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Must be able to read, write legibly and make simple calculations such as those involved in determining capacities of tanks.

Must possess mechanical aptitude.

Must be able to work overtime as required and furnish own transportation to and from jobsite.

Must participate in all recommended and/or required training to include, but not limited to, class room and on-the-job safety training, HAZWOPER, hazardous waste hauling, etc.

Keep work areas clean and orderly, wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety policies.

Perform any other work assigned by the supervisor.
